Arro MDM is an enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) agent application intended for use by organizations to manage corporate-owned Android devices. This policy describes what data the app accesses and how it is used.
The app requests access to the device camera solely to scan a QR code during the enrollment process. The QR code contains the MDM server address and an enrollment token provided by the organization's IT administrator. No photos or video are captured, stored, or transmitted. Camera access is used only when the user explicitly taps "Scan Enrollment QR Code."
As an Android Enterprise Device Owner, the app queries the list of all installed packages on the device. This information is used to enforce app policies set by the organization's IT administrator (such as ensuring required apps are installed or blocking unauthorized apps) and to report device compliance status to the MDM server.
The app collects and transmits the following device information to the organization's MDM server:
This information is used exclusively for device management purposes by the employing organization. It is not shared with third parties.
The app communicates with the organization's MDM server to receive device management commands, report device status, and download or remove managed applications. All communication is performed over HTTPS.
The app runs a foreground service to maintain periodic synchronization with the MDM server. A persistent notification is displayed while this service is active, as required by Android.
Device data transmitted to the MDM server is retained and managed by the organization operating the server. End users should contact their IT administrator regarding data retention policies.
For questions about this privacy policy or data handling, contact your organization's IT administrator or the developer at the email address listed in the Play Store.
